Did you know? Since July, 1st 2017 the City of Las Vegas changed the law in terms of so-called Short Term Rentals:

• You require a business license in order to rent out your space on Airbnb, HomeAway etc.
• Also, this license has to be paid every year in order to renew it
• Additionally, every home, condo, and even spare room has to fulfill dozens of requirements in order to be eligible to meet the short term rental requirements including fire-extinguisher at the right locations, a register book to be filled out and signed by your guests and so on
• The City of Las Vegas charges penalties up to $1,000 or alternatively time in jail for every requirement that is not met
